Actually his previous offenses involved "actual youngsters" plus he wasn't co-operating with the police.
The police found the images in the recycle bin, which likely means he left them there and deleted the REALLY obscene stuff.

They should have convicted him and sentenced him to hard labor for the first offense. Now it seems as if they are correcting there previous error by convicting him of committing a victimless crime.

Criminally Creepy is right up there with criminally stupid. Unfortunately it's not criminal to be either - or both.
