OMG! This would be so funny! She couldn't win a debate with a 10 year old, much less Al Gore, unless the rules were ridiculous! Have to have all questions submitted in advance and no follow up, so she could just read the answers that were written for her, and then she would probably mess it up!

She devastated Biden during the election, and Biden is much smarter than Gore.

Exactly, and that is why President McCain won the election, in your alternate universe.

McCain lost because he was a republican .. just like GW - Obama won because he was not a republican and he was for change ...(Hah - Hah)

I think that Palin did clean the weeping Biden's clock during their debate .. and I don't particularly like her and voted third party .. but then again I don't look thru life with democrat sunglasses on like some do.

No, she is why McCain almost won the election in spite of his idiot self.

That may be, but I have never come across a person who told me that they weren't going to vote for McCain until Palin was picked for VP on the ticket, but many, many people have told me that they were all set to vote for McCain until they saw Sarah Palin and then changed their mind about voting for McCain.

It doesn't matter. Palin does not speak to rational people. It doesn't matter how bad Gore objectively trounces Palin in a debate. Her 'followers' and Rush Limbaugh will proclaim her a winner regardless. That's why everyone of stature should ignore her and let her fade back into obscurity. By acknowledging she exists, it only makes her stronger.

Everyone of stature .... Hah.

I suppose those people of stature also ignore what an ignoramus that Gore is and always will be and how much that Obama is like GW .. it makes for an inconvenient truth.

Are you seriously calling Gore an "ignoramus?" The man who went to Harvard, then enlisted in the US Army to fight in Vietnam for two years, went to Vanderbilt Law on a full scholarship, only to drop out to run for (and win) a seat in the House?

Sorry pal. Gore and that idiot from Bumfuck, Alaska aren't even in the same league. It takes a special kind of moron with his own brand of logic to come to that conclusion.

I am glad that you think that Gore is such a brilliant man ... I am sorry that you can't appreciate the ex governor of Alaska and her accomplishments. I don't necessarily think Gore is an idiot as much as you think that Palin is a fool. Neither of these people are in my social circle, I don't receive Christmas cards from either person, nor would I vote for them, and if I had to have Palin or Gore as a neighbor I would want it to be Palin. Perhaps Gore is a buffoon fits more than an ignoramus.

Son of a rich man going to Harvard, Vanderbilt and law school ... those do not equate a great person to me - smart maybe, arrogant, self serving law school drop out and politician who never had a real job and never really lived the life of a common person .. yes that would be Al Gore. There are way too many people who have graduated from Harvard, Princeton, Yale that are in public office right not to suit me. The 'elite' that they think they are tend to serve the elite ... now don't they.

You can at least say that Sarah Palin has lead more of a common person's life - maybe you don't agree with her life style, religious beliefs or politics. I wouldn't vote for her for president, unless she was running against Al Gore - and then I would probably vote third party. I've known lot's of smart people who have not done wise things, to often their arrogance interferes with wise decisions and actions.

Hilarious. You left out the part where Gore voluntarily enlisted in the US ARMY for Vietnam (not the national guard, like bush) AFTER he graduated from Harvard! Despite Nixon trying to keep him out of combat for political reasons, he did end up fighting. How's that for a "real job?" Perhaps he should have worked as a local sports reporter like Palin in order to gain respect. ROTFL

You called him an "ignoramus," which obviously he is not by any definition.

The last thing I want in government is "commoners," as you call them. You know... the idiots who vote for Palin because she's "hot" or Bush because "I can have a beer with him." No, I do not want these people in office. I want people in office who've led accomplished lives and who are far more intelligent than the average person. These are the people who solve complex problems without resorting to simplistic thinking like "LESS GOVT ALWAYS GOOD" or other such embarrassing cliches; people who realize life is more nuanced than rush limbaugh, sean hannity or ayn rand think.

Since I left out the part about his military history ... let me add a few ignorant, stupid, arrogant quotes that you inconveniently left out to.

Idjits who live in stone houses shouldn't throw stones.

Al Gore Quotes .. yes he said that

More Gore'isms

I truly hope that "government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

... stays intact for centuries to come ... it won't at the pace that the last few administrations is working at ... even a 'genius' like you can figure that out.
