As a Windows user you should be used to hanging your butt out there! If you were actually worried about all the Malware and such, you'd have done what I did several years ago and switched to Linux!! Though that is not the reason I switched over! MS updates "Pooched" my system twice in three months!! Bye, Bye Windows! Never regretted the switch!

You set the update option and you clicked on yes please give er to me... dont blame microsoft... ( sounds so weird to say that)

Whatever you run now is probably eminently compatable with your steam powered car...pulling your buggy.

Ubuntu 9.04 and soon 9.10! Feb. of 07 the Windows update messed up the sounds system of any machine with Realtek sound chips on the mobo! This was know by MS, but not disclosed to the users till after the update was released!! Yeah, my system is old and weak only a P4 2.8Ghz w/1Gb of RAM and a 128Mb Nvidia FX5700LE , a Shuttle XPC! Even still use a CRT monitor, but it runs very well with Ubuntu where it was not recommended for use with Vista before I downgraded to the 128Mb Video card from 256Mb! Ubuntu seems to have no troubles running with all the bells and whistles turned on!!

Haven't used IE in a long time, I do use Chrome occasionally and admit it does run a little cleaner.

Considering Google effectively pioneered the use of AJAX (the java script element in particular allowed Google to use the auto predict) means this is not surprising at all.

I'm happy using the Firefox and Sleipnir browsers - don't use IE don't want Google chrome, an extra few milliseconds isn't enough for me to start surrendering all my browsing habits to the Google corporation thank you.

The world is like a giant car, were speeding towards a brick wall at 100 miles per hour and everybody's arguing over where to sit..
