What I really like about the proposal is it leverages all the best things about each involved party. Doctors still make the call regarding your treatments. Free markets do what they do best, reduce cost while ensuring a profit for all involved companies. The government enforces truth, not actions.

Your Doctor makes the call?? My Wifes Doctor had to threaten to be a witness in the suit I would file if my wife died because they denied the medication she needed and he had prescribed!! Needless to say she got her medication after that!!
