ACORN - the gift that keeps on giving:
Ben McGartland of Albuquerque, head of the New Mexico chapter of ACORN, was charged in July in state District Court in Estancia with 10 counts, including second-degree criminal sexual penetration of a minor, three counts of criminal sexual contact, attempt to commit a felony, kidnapping, concealing identity, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
from Milwaukee:
At least seven felons convicted of crimes including cocaine possession and robbery were recruited by ACORN in Milwaukee, raising fears they may have committed voter fraud . . . Along with the seven felons, court records show one special registration deputy has a pending felony charge for heroin possession and another is facing a misdemeanor prostitution charge. A third was convicted of misdemeanor prostitution.
Can we throw them all in jail???
Remember, Obama served as their lawyer, funded them while a candidate (for the Senate and the President), and funded them from the White House. All the time denying it.
Maybe some people just don't think they can depend on people like you for an accurate view of the situation. Blackwater (among many others)has been accused of far worse crimes than these, yet I don't hear you going on every day about how those people should be thrown in jail.
Why the double standard?
Gramps: We are talking about teenage, forced prostitution. Which obviously involves Statutory Rape. And you want to talk about Blackwater!
I give up! You are hopeless! If you can't even agree that forced statutory rape is a heinous crime, you are beyond hope and not fit for polite society. Say whatever you want! I don't care!! Begone!
Grow up, Gramps.
In case you don't know, individuals from Blackwater have been accused of rape/murder of under aged girls in Iraq.
I do agree that rape is a heinous crime, but not just for people who's politics I disagree with. To me it makes no difference, but you don't seem to see it that way.
You are outraged at the crimes (or alleged crimes) of those you disagree with, but you feign ignorance of well publicized cases where those you do support have done the same or worse.
See, the problem with you isn't just that you are disingenuous, accusatory, and obnoxious. No, the problem is that everything is about politics with you, even rape. Ask yourself this, do you think that a victim cares one bit about the politics of her attacker?
To you everyone who has a different viewpoint that you is automatically a liar and possibly a criminal. It is a very, what is the word, un-American point of view.
In 2007, in a speech to Acorn's leaders prior to their political arm's endorsement of his presidential campaign, Mr. Obama was effusive: "I've been fighting alongside of Acorn on issues you care about my entire career. Even before I was an elected official, when I ran Project Vote in Illinois, Acorn was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work."
HIS ENTIRE CAREER!!!
Even though I am Half-Polish I don't care to beat my head against a brick wall!!
I am surprised that Democrats knew what ACORN was. We work hard to keep them in the dark.
One thing i think really funny about this all.. Sure, you had plenty of Bush conspirecy theorys around during the last 8 years but normally you had to go to fringe/conspirecy sites to find them. In this grand age of Republican chastising it is very out in the open and up front..
My only question is do they really not see how looney they come off as and that in the long run they most likley doing irreconcilable damage to the republican party and name? It is like Obama became president and any form of cooth, dignaty or respect for the Republican party went straight out the window.
I LOVE your avatar!
