Murder seems a bit harsh. He is responsible for that girl's death, but it was an accident. I don't think he put that car into the water on purpose.

Besides, Teddy will have more to answer for than just that one drunken driving incident, don't you think?

And if God gives points for good speechifying, Teddy might get catch a bit of a break yet.

If you did the same thing, I'll bet you would be still in jail or just getting out! I doubt the Lord can be talked out of punishment that he has earned after years of selfish politics and killing another person.

Even if what you say is true (I suppose you were there and saw exactly what happened and if so then you didn't help Mary Jo either, did you?) it still isn't murder.

This may come as a shock to you but most people who are in car accidents, even if they cause them or are drunk behind the wheel aren't accused of murder, even if they vote Democrat, true story. There was a recent story about a football player who did just that and got 30 days in jail and got out in 20, although I don't recall his political affiliation. Might have been a Rush Dittohead for all I know.

I'm sure there are many bartenders that are sad to his passing as well.

The talking head on CBS news was funny .. saying Obama had to 'personally' rewrite his speech to get it right.... the speech was

"Teddy" was my least favorite of that family and it is too bad we don't have term limits congress. He has been a mover and shaker in American politics .. good or bad there will be some that miss him and others that will not.

I dunno about that. I saw Obama out there, shirt with a collar but no tie, and the top 2 buttons undone, it spoke to me. Here he is, the pinnacle of the American government and he's out there dressed like John Q. Everyman, the type of guy that gets his hands dirty working day in and day out to feed his family and pay his mortgage and put gas in his car.

It made me feel like Obama is just like me. Almost as if I could go have a beer or a pulled pork sandwich with my ol' buddy Obama.

I was surprised it took George Stefanopoulis 6 hours to say Kennedy really really wanted to pass that health care package as a legacy before he died and what a fitting tribute it would be to him to get it passed.

what a F'in TOOL that Georgie is.

Kennedy's doctors did not specify what type of malignant glioma he had.

It was called a Karma-toma.
