The reason why *people I know* have been buying 2-3 hand guns per month, along with an M4 here and there. It might not ever happen, but then again, who would have thought Hitler would have done what he did? He's proof that one person can Make A Change.
Although I don't buy into the NWO mumbo jumbo, its the thought that there is someone out there that wants to Have Change in what they believe in, and subsequently, have Change that they want me to buy in to.
Exactly, the whole point of all this information is to be prepared.
People are making changes and standing up for their rights, particularly in the States and its a wise decision to arm yourselves for your own self defense.
Already done so, I'm constantly armed with a 1911 except for when I'm at work or out drinking. The work thing will be remedied once I can afford to spend $600-$800 on a much smaller gun that can be concealed in dress clothes.
Get yourself a Taurus Judge. Just picked one up this weekend. There are 2 varieties. One shoots the 2.5" x .410 shot, and the other shoots the 3" Magnum slug or 000 buck shot.
Both will also handle .45 Long Colt rounds as well.
The one I have is the 2.5" variety with a 3" barrel.
The place I bought it from suggested the first 2 rounds of .410, and the remaining 3 rounds of .45 long colt just in case the .410 didn't do its job.
It is a little big for concealing, but then again you could opt for a Glock 26.
Even the G26 is a bit large for what I have in mind. I just want something that I can put in a pocket holster and drop in my pocket on the way out the door. I'll probably just end up going with the Sig P238, which is basically just a Colt Mustang.
I know a guy that carries one of these, a Kel-Tec .380ACP and I also know a few local cops that carry the same thing on an ankle holster as a secondary. Not exactly a top of the line gun like an HK, but its a decent gun when you got to make some noise.

I think great minds think alike. The Kel-Tec and the Ruger LCP are both on my short list as well. Just ditched the girlfriend a little over a week ago, so I finally have money for guns again. Just need to go shopping 
You seem well prepared, not so easy to get that kind of protection over here, shotguns are the best we can get and even so we need to have permission from TWO landowners "to hunt" before we get a license....
Still glad to know you guys aren't defenseless since any hope of avoiding a NWO will start with you guys
