This administration would rather give $$$ to people who drive nice luxury cars - the returns are better for the politicians.
"This is simply the most stimulative $1 billion the federal government has spent during the entire economic downturn,"
Probably a true statement .. that is why the feds 'stipidly' stopped it. Of course the person who said this was a congressional rep from Michigan. It did give money back to people though and not banks and Wall Street tycoons and the people went and spent the money and helped the economy go round and round a wee bit.
I'm still not sure why I should help someone buy a car if I'm not getting anything out of it.
Great quote from a car salesman ... "If they can't administer a program like this, I'd be a little concerned about my health insurance,"
This is what is going to happen with healthcare. They will grossly underestimate to money.
Wasn't the program "out of funds" before it started?
Out of Funds?! The pit is bottomless and more money can always be extracted from the rich to fund this program.
If your point of view was the one that was really at work in Washington DC, then this story wouldn't be happening.
