Theres no justification for this leniency at all - not even if he had a cure for cancer.

I can almost guarantee the problem will sort itself out if they put the guy in general population. If they don't outright kill him, the daily beatings will make him wish he spent a lifetime in solitary.
Not to dis Oklahoma too much (it's OK, right?) but it is Oklahoma.
Shit like this is exactly why I would never even let this get to court if it was my child. 
You know, this bullshit leniency shit happens all the time when it comes to pedo's and child rapists. Few stories make the mainstream press. Disgusting and horrific. I REALLY hope these motherfuckers get what they deserve in prison, but is that really just wishful thinking on all of our parts? I hope not.
