If you take the view that you do unto others before they do unto you that is different, I don't have a problem with that .. however our PC society won't allow that.
That's such a large and steaming pile of horse crap I can only wish I was close enough to provide you with a spoon and a little motivation. I spent 28 years in uniform. When I was on exercises in the Fulda Gap in the '70s, I was a democrat. When I woke up within earshot of the North Korean loudspeakers spouting propaganda, I was a democrat. When I watched the machine gun nest overlooking Reagan speaking at the Berlin Wall, I was a democrat. Ducking SCUDs in Desert Storm? Democrat. And so on. I was able to do that because I have enough gray matter to separate my service to my country from the policies of the people in office. You have to understand that people who love their country want the best for it. A lot of them just disagree with you about what's best for it. Some would rather take the bloody nose and keep the moral high ground, while others would rather hunt the bastards down and give them 10 bloody noses. As a conservative you probably think people just need to want what you want or they're traitors or idiots, which tells me I've wasted every word of more than one syllable that I've written. Except maybe idiot. I'm guessing you've heard that one before.
