Hard to answer that question, it is too far out of my frame of reference, but when guys my age (50 ) 'marry' little girls barely into their teens (or even younger) I think there might be something sinister going on.
It might be something other than "love," especially on the part of the female.
Soon, when America fully accepts Sharia law, as Canada and the UK is doing now due to the skyrocketing growth of Islam, especially in prison populations and taxpayer funded childbirths, child marriage, divorce at the uttering of a few words by the man, wife beating and polygamy will be legal, gay marriage will not. Get used to it.
Exactly right - and a 52 year old man marrying an 11 year old girl will be OK. But we better keep an eye on those darn Christian fundamentalists.
Especially the ones who are pretending to be Islamic fundamentalists.
