Gramps and all the left wingers said they wouldn't mind paying for everyone's internet taxes .. at least those of them that aren't too poor and those that will actually pay their taxes and those that don't have Swiss and Cayman Island bank accounts ... I guess that leaves it to the middle class again. Gramps complained about GW and his spending and he didn't like where the money was going ... well now that his boys and girls are in power and they are spending 10 times as much as GW did, it is only right that they pay for Wall Street and bank bailouts in this country and in Europe and mobster museums in Las Vegas ... or STFU and get these clowns out of office in DC.
Don't blame me I voted for Ralph Nader in 2004 and Ron Paul in 2008
Well, I do have to point this out, Big T. This is not a Presidential issue. Based on your previous comments, I'm sure you did this anyway, but I hope you voted third party in the previous Congressional elections as well, since it is Congress who is pushing this through.
You're right this is a congressional rip off - I was just trying to push Gramps buttons ...
I am afraid I voted for GW in 2000 as I was more afraid that Gore was a bigger idiot than GW was ... those guys are probably a draw in the intelligence and integrity department. I voted 3rd party the last two presidential elections - I'm not particularly proud of that - I just really don't like where either dem or repub party is going. I noticed that Billy Boy or GW it didn't much matter - they were the same wolf in sheeps clothing trying their best to make the rich richer and spending money like a drunken sailor on leave.
I can't believe that TARP 1 & 2 passed so easily through congress even though the majority of the public didn't want it .. our reps in DC didn't even have time to read the bill and they passed it ... the same dems who didn't think that GW could tie his shoes and breath at the same time for some reason thought that GW and Paul$en had the right idea and started bailing out banks. The real answer is that they are protecting the bankers and Wall Street dogs. Just look who they have given money too the past several years. Follow the money.
Enough of the rant and I hope that Americans wake up and stop being yanked around by red and blue ... them or us mentality and do what's best for the country.
I am afraid I voted for GW in 2000 as I was more afraid that Gore was a bigger idiot than GW was...
I voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004 for the same reason, but I voted third party in both the 2006 Congressional elections and in the 2008 elections. Personally, I dislike the Democrats because I feel they treat their constituents like children. The Republicans, on the other hand, seem to be trying to scare everyone into giving the government more power.

Well, these are the same people that didn't bother to read the intelligence reports on Iraq, so its not like it is unexpected. Seriously, I am (and have been for several years) far more worried about Congress than any President. The mainstream media seems to focus too much attention (and blame) for laws on the President, and treats Congress like the "man behind the curtain", never mentioning that it is Congress who is mostly causing these problems to begin with. Hopefully the tea parties are the beginnings of a "we the people" movement in America.
I am not any happier about the current state of the economy than you are, Big T. But I disagree on Clinton and GW being the same. There were a lot of differences. Clinton believes that government can play a positive role, and a lot of what he did involved government taking an initiative, and modest amounts of money to get something started. A lot of the job growth while he was in office came from small businesses who took advantage of some of Bubba's ideas. Bush on the other hand is contemptuous of government and threw huge chunks of federal money at cronies, with little oversight or expectation that they would do what they were supposed to do with the cash. Massive amounts of borrowed money went to waste. That combined with him giving Wall Street anything it wanted to the point of near collapse, is largely responsible for the financial mess we are in right now.
The reason TARP passed so easily is that Congress was terrified that a Second Great Depression was on the way, due in large part to Dubya's incompetence.
The stuff they are doing now is an attempt to get the economy back on track. We better all pray that it works, or we will be in really deep doo-doo.
But Obama said that nobody with income below $250,000 would have to pay a dime more in taxes. So I am sure people with salaries below that will not have to pay. Otherwise we would all know that Obama was a lying son of a bitch.
I want to see that direct quote. Because otherwise, YOU are a "lying son of a bitch."
And speaking of, calling the presidents dead mother a bitch is about as vulgar and declasse as it gets.
C'mon Zem, your criticism of Cut is wrong, he has said a lot more crass and vulgar stuff than that!
(The Obama promise had to do with income tax/federal withholding. Cut is just doing the usual propaganda thing and trying to extend the promise way beyond its intended meaning so as to make the guy out to be a liar.)
He said it at the October 7th presidential debate
[quote]If you make less than a quarter of a million dollars a year, you will not see a single dime of your taxes go up. [quote]
It's a shame Cut is such a asshole because sometimes he is on point.
Income tax and sales tax are two different things.
And Cut has a thing for Gramps. His whole shtick is done to get Gramps attention.
And, hey Zem, you wanna see vulgar and declasse, just look at Cut's sig quote. Not the part about Democrats being vulgar and dirty minded, he is entitled to his opinion about that, as well as the amusingly self-revealing way he expresses that opinion.
No, the bad part is the stuff about birth and breeding. He seems to be implying that political philosophy is some kind of genetic expression, or even a genetic disorder. It is a disturbingly irrational concept, a Know-Nothing lemming meets genetic engineer kind of thing.
It is near to psychotic in its disassociation with anything related to the real world.
Seriously, that surprises you?
No, but you brought up the subject of Cut's vulgar proclivities.
Maybe you two should get a room and relieve the tension.

lmao
Ya, totally what I meant.
Spin it any way you want Ms Rrushe, but I am not going anywhere near that freak.
No rooms, no cages, no lawns, nuthin'!
I am being generous enough by being on the same internets as him.
Awwww Gramps, you're gonna break his heart!

Apparently those tea parties were not as small or limited as the mainstream media has previously suggested.
