Wow, that's literally sad. I wonder why they laid him off instead of somebody else - he seems to have been a fixture at the pub.

We're working hard to implement your feedback ideas.

Doyle, who will give his age only as around 66, describes his job in the early years as "ringmaster."

well more coach than sam or woody... and its surprising how companys pull the economics card right around retirement age isnt it?

I'll bet you that it was something along the lines that if they fired him, he could collect SS. If they fired someone else, they wouldn't have a source of income.

just a guess.

Making your way in the world today doesn't take everyone you've got...

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

You mean bush invented fractional reserve banking, the negative amortization mortgages, the credit default swap market, securitized mortgage products etc.

Damn he was busy.

But no, no it was all Bush's fault.

Seriously man, I know you are an old guy, but that line is going out of fashion real quick.

I was just giving Cut some crap. I know what's what and I know Bush's role in all of this consists mostly of being asleep at the regulatory switch when he should have been protecting shareholders and consumers.

He was too much under the sway of the people who created this problems rather than the guy who created the problem.

In any case the damage has been done, and it is just plain stupid to blame the firefighter for the house being on fire the way Cut does.
