You are correct in that there is just too much in this Bill for it to pass as written. That doesn't mean it won't come back in several pieces over the next few years. The thing that troubles me is that these types of Bills keep getting written. In just about every opinion poll I have ever seen the vast majority of people are not in favor of such strict gun control, yet every couple of years some dipshit tries to ram gun control through Congress. One of theses days something is going to make it through and I think a serious mess will follow.
It is too bad that this kind of stuff happens. Some dumbass is always sponsoring a Bill to do something that can never pass. That gives the propagandists ammunition to predict a passage that everyone in their right mind knows will never happen, so they can either fund raise or whatever based on fooling the public.
Gun owners have probably been fooled by this kind of crap more than any other gullible segment of the population.
But, again, don't listen to me tin foil hat gun owners. As far as you know, I am in on the conspiracy to come to your home and take all your guns and ammo and knives and teaspoons away from you.
Go out and buy, buy, buy!
If they want my teaspoons, they'll have to pry them from my cold, dead hands.
Straight from Change.gov:
Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.
For sure... all these idiots keep buying up everything on the shelves. I'm having a very difficult time getting my hands on quality .45ACP right now and ended up having to qualify with my 9mm a few weeks ago for my CCW instead of my 1911.
That's not a long enough name for a bill

He should be in prison, not in Congress.
Gramps
Go ahead and panic-buy all the guns you can get your hands on because of this Bill, but it ain't gonna pass and even if it did the Supremes would knock it down.
But don't listen to Gramps, go ahead and spend the rent money on more guns and then worry about the rent later.
