Drat! It was part of the vast, Right-Wing conspiracy to have him run so we can steal the next election.

Sieze this, Honkus.

Moron Al Gore said: "I don't think it's the right thing for me to do," Gore said. He said a rematch with President Bush "would inevitably involve a focus on the past that would in some measure distract from the focus on the future that I think all campaigns have to be about."
Excuses excuses. With democrats its ALWAYS someone elses or something elses fault. Him and Bill Clinton along with Hillary are nothing but deep-fryin-trailer-livin-white-trash. SCREW EM!

I'm sad to hear this. Although I voted for Bush in 2000, I still have the impression that Al Gore is a good man. I also feel for very sorry for him, because for all extents and purposes, he should have been elected president. He received the popular vote, but lost where it matters, and that must be extremely painful.

If you're not outraged, you're simply not paying attention.

this is not the first time gore has said that he will not run. in '91 or '92 gore felt as if bush was unbeatable so he decided to end his early run.

i remember clearly his saying that he "wanted to spend more time with his family." not surprising i suppose.

This is just the internet. No controversy here, just discussion and opinions. Well, controversy is what Democrats would call an opinion that is different that theirs. Like the opinion that I think they should reduce welfare for those that are capable of working and supporting themselves. That is a controversial comment in the fact that the dope smoking moron that lives across the street from me would have to get off of her fat lazy ass and get a job at McDonalds to support her 4 kids ages 1-4. That just wouldn't be fair to the poor woman. But don't you dare say "But she has to be home to take care of her kids." She is at home, inside, with the door closed, and the kids are playing in the street about a block away unsupervised by themselves from 9:00am until dark. WOW! I just went on a rant!
