1. Muslims pray facing Mecca (in particular, the Kabba stone), so if they are to the east of Mecca they pray facing west.
2. The Earth is a sphere (although they don't seem to be aware of any such discoveries in the last 800 years so they might not know). So whichever way you face you can trace a line around the earth several times and end up anywhere (even Starbucks).
3. Who gives a fuck???
