after spending all tat money on his trial ... now he dies. Well I guess it saves the taxpayer some money .... but it's going to make Bubba unhappy that he could not spend time with is new gifrlfriend.
The Clintons were sleeping on the otherside of the Lay bed as well.
I am not sure why you care so much about Clinton, but you might as well get the facts straight.
Clinton knew Ken Lay, but Ken Lay was a Republican, not a democrat, contributor. In fact, he mostly gave money to Bush during his run for President and during his 1993 governor race. I don't consider that a bad thing though because I doubt Bush knew it was dirty money, at least no more dirty than the rest of the lobbying dollars.
And you really need to get over Clinton.
Not until the other one Clinton is dead in the ground.
"Ken Lay played golf with Bill Clinton. Clinton helped Ken Lay get a $3 billion power plant project in India for Enron. Four days before the deal went through, Enron gave $100,000 to the Democratic party." from the Times.
None of us should forget they all suck.
Don't vote for anyone with an I by their name unless you know they're on the right path.
i think he paid bush to "kill" him off - he is now drinking on a beach somewhere
Mr. Big T should well know that Bill Clinton discussions are censored on this site and are no longer a valid talking point. The Bush lies about Clinton will be stifled by the gatekeepers here if the posters do not police themselves and each other -- as is being done now.
The media offer an example of those who have gotten over the warhawk aspirin factory bomber tail wagger. They no longer cover any Clinton speeches, activities or historical events, just as you should not.

Clinton's attack on that asprin factory is still the closest the US has come to date to getting bin Laden. Once again, Clinton didn't do enough, but Bush managed to do less, when it comes to protecting America.
The "Kenny-Boy" Lay/George W Bush connection is much closer than most people realize. Lay was a top money contributer to Bush, but he contributed much more than money to Dubya. Lay and Enron was heavily involved in the Florida Recount, the Bush Transition Team, and dozens of Enron people populated the early days of the Bush Administration's first term. Many people believe that Lay was the person who convinced Bush to run for Texas governor in the first place.
FF .. get some glasses .. I didn't say anything about Clinton
Enron Coontributions were 90% Republican .. still 10% for dems is still something whenyou talk about how much money they gave out.
It is interesting to note that Lay was a 'friend' of Bush .. and he did get tossed in jail for the rest of his short wretched life.
If i was going to say something about Clinton .. I would say that Billy Boy would have pardoned Ken Lay.
In all fairness, we will never know if Dubya would have pardoned Kenny-Boy in the waning hours of his administration, since Lay didn't live long enough to see the end of that administration.
Since he's dead, he's not guilty.
