I already did. I sat on our city council. Non-partisan.

Nope, I was a real official councilman. I enjoyed it, I learned a lot about what it takes to run a municipality. I was the anti-councilman councilman. I spoke honestly and bluntly in no-bullshit terms. I made a lot of friends of city staff because I think they found me refreshing, as in no political agenda and no wishy-washy get-me-re-elected stands/statements.
I was jsut making fun Ddub ... not making fun of you. A great experience I bet .. I think that everyone should try something like that ... however did you get elected? In our town we have pulbic station tht broadcasts ALL of the city council meetings and you can see what some of those clowns are really like.
Maybe I will run for office some time after my kids are out of the house.
