My worst fears realized.

Where in that article does it say that Clinton was "anti-military"?
thebaron, you MUST stop doing this shit. First of all, the category should not be "stupid". It should be 'political' or even 'celebrity'. And just because Clinton didn't start any wars doesn't mean he is anti-military. Remember, we invaded afgahnistan and iraq with Clintons military. Until the last quarter of 2001, Bush did NOTHING to improve our military. He also completely ignored the terrorist threat that the Clinton people were warning them about.
TheBaron probably has more "stupid" category posts than anyone else here. If it's a political/religious article with a "stupid" tag you can almost count on it being him.
You took the words right out of my mouth! Every president inherits the last presidents military, and we DID invade Iraq and Afghanistan with, according to GW, "the most prepared and capable military ever".
Woe unto the president that inherits GW's military, after there are no reserves left and fewer enlisted soldiers due to the desire not to spend years overseas in combat situations. Recidivism in the military is at an all time high thanks to Mr. Sixgun, and it will only get worse with each extension of duty.
Gives a thumbs-up to theBaron. Oh wait wrong finger.
/yes I know a thumb isn't a finger
Clinton is repeatedly referred to as anti-military by those that believe that if you repeat a falsehood often enough, it will become true, or at least more people will believe that it is true.
By the way, did you know that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction, and Clinton murdered Vince Foster, and Janet Reno killed all those people in Waco because she hates Christians, and that she may drive a tank to YOUR church next!
Fucking "Recidivism"!!!! Damnit where the fuck were you when I needed that word. Thanks!
You're welcome!

Do you know how many active duty servicemen quit due to Clinton treatment of the Military. The Military was in such bad shape that it took a huge of amout of time to determine what was needed to be fixed.
Clinton could have had Bin Laden years ago. Don't bullshit me on Clinton. He was the ultimate politican, who only truly cared about his own power and abuse of power. The lack of M-1A in Iraq compared to Desert Storm showed to me that needed help. 9-11 was a wake up call and failing economy continuing from Clinton's era did not help him rush out and increase spending that was rightfully needed in the military.
Janet "the lush" Reno, who is the back pocket of several mafia families. You don't get invited to their weddings if you are not.... No she just wanted to oppress them and Waco/Ruby Ridge should have never ended as they did.
Are you Rush Limbaugh?
I really need some Oxycontin - Can you give me the hookup?
Argh...either side of the spectrum, these extreme rants about "whose military it is"stinks. Bottom line is that our military is the best in the world...our weapons are the best in the world...unfortunately, our intelligence is lacking, and that CAN be blamed on the Democrats of the 90's (I'm a moderate---just so you know, and willing to point the finger where it's deserved). It was the Dems, including Clinton, who restricted information-sharing between FBI & CIA. And it's typically the Dems who put limits on what acronym groups can get away with. This is one issue I credit the GOP for being stronger in.
It's not a secret that the Clintons hated the military. As for "Clintons" military, Clinton cut the number of fighter wings in half. He took the american military from being able to fight 2.5 regional conflicts before he came into office to where we are barely able to fight 1. As for the whole Bin Laden thing, Bill Clinton was too fucking busy to pick up a simple phone and make a phone call. We could have had Bin Laden in US custody just like that.
And another thing. Clinton deployed the US military more than any other president in history.

And just because Clinton didn't start any wars
Funny, I remember both Somalia and Yugoslavia. If memory serves correct, Milosevic was taken out by the United States military without UN approval, and lives were lost on both sides. Serve and volley semantics all you want, but call a spade a spade.
You might want to read a book written by Clintons Air Force atache. I believe it is called "Dereliction of Duty." I forget the authors name, but it is a good read for an inside look at what went on in regards to the military in the Clinton White House.
You write:
"Clinton could have had Bin Laden years ago. Don't bullshit me on Clinton. He was the ultimate politican, who only truly cared about his own power and abuse of power. The lack of M-1A in Iraq compared to Desert Storm showed to me that needed help. 9-11 was a wake up call and failing economy continuing from Clinton's era did not help him rush out and increase spending that was rightfully needed in the military."
Not that I like Democraps any more than I like Repugnicans, let's flip the tables.
"Bush (Sr.) could have had Bin Laden years ago. Don't bullshit me on Bush. He is the ultimate politican, who only truly cares about his own power and abuse of power. The lack of any International support in Iraq compared to Desert Storm showed to me that needed help. 9-11 was a wake up call and failing economy continuing from Bush's era does not help him rush out and increase taxing the average American while spending astronomical amounts on "liberating" and reconstructing Iraq.
You say tomato, I say fuck the 2-party system.
Bush got us into Somalia, Clinton inherited the mess.
Isn't it? I thought it was just a specially named finger
Clinton was the guy who called for "regime change." It is a Clinton term used by the Bush people as if W thought of it first. (If you think this statement qualifies as "stupid" I encourage you to look it up)
Clinton should have taken action after Saddam broke the agreements made after Desert Storm a few times and not the hundred times....
I'm sure that you meant to say that Clinton should have done something MORE than the 1998 bombing of multiple suspected WMD sites. I'm sure you remember the event. At the time every conservative pundit screamed 'wag the dog.'
It was a very successful bombing campaign, that is now thought to have destroyed what WMD's Saddam still had on hand, but has been forgotten by conservatives who now like to insist that Clinton did nothing against Saddam.
Get it. At the time, it was too much against Saddam. Now it is too little.
Same with bin Laden. At the time, conservatives said that Clinton was too obsessed with bin Laden. The Bush people put him on the back, back burner until 9/11/01. At that point, the problem became the fault of Clinton, who didn't do enough about bin Laden. The icing on the cake is the ficticious story that Clinton could have gotten bin Laden and turned the deal down. Why didn't the Bush family get bin Laden, they have the contacts? Hell, they have been business partners with the bine Ladens for decades.
Mmmmm, here's another one:
"Clinton should have taken action after Saddam broke the agreements made after Desert Storm a few times and not the hundred times...."
And we can also say:
"Bush Sr. should have whacked Saddam during Desert Storm because it was obvious to all the world that he needed to go...."
You say potato, I say anyone who blindly follows any political party's line is brain dead.
Bill Clinton is a pickle dicked sexual deviant. I hope he gets AIDS.
Clinton is a wanker, who cares what he says?!?

the_infamous
im telling you - saddam just got bush reelected for another 4 years.
