Maybe people who aren't voting for Ron Paul are really saying that they want to vote for a candidate that has a realistic chance of becoming president.
And, by the way, whenever millions of people are thrown out of work due to some financial meltdown on Wall Street, a lot more people become dependent, for a period of time, on government assistance. It doesn't necessarily have to be that way, we could gut those kinds of programs, but then every recession would result in a lot more people defaulting on their rent or mortgage worsening the recession and risking an all out Depression when the chain of people not working don't pay their bills spirals out of control.
Consider RP did win.. Time and again he has been the soul vote for bills he brings forward.. Now look at Obama and this "Party of NO" we have had...
You think RP could get anything done? He lacks support from the right and left. It would be a stale 4 years imo.
I don't dig Ron Paul's foreign ideas as I would prefer a strong america power among the world over hiding in a hole.
Strong American power in the world requires lots of tax dollars. Can't have one without the other.
