I think this is a good statement to make at this time, before BO gets any more blame for it. It's time for progressives to start businesses for the sole purpose of hiring people to create things or perform services that there is no demand for. The jobs will pay high wages and benefits with a management that is paid the same wage as the every other worker at the facility, no matter the worker or manager's skill, education or experience, to encourage motivation, enthusiasm, employee paid for after work training and higher education, industriousnes, and create a fair and level playing field. If this doesn't work we'll blame Bush and then call the job problem "old news" and encourage all to Let's moveon.org.
However, this still mean the repugs in government are responsible for passing and creating jobs bills so that we progressives can now blame them for passing and creating idiotic jobs bills that will never work because the kooksk are too stupid to realize that the government can't create jobs. A tactic.

I love listening to Tea Partiers harp about government spending not creating jobs in one breath, then justifying Pentagon spending with a job creation argument.
