Why not, its a mere 6% of what he squandered last time.

And of course by squandered you mean kept us out of bread and soup lines, right?

Interestingly enough I just read a piece that said that this outrage of Obama's spending is being fueled by Wall Street as an aggressive way to make sure that the US government doesn't squander all its money on its citizens, because the bankers are going to need another bailout when they blow up the markets again in the near future. The guys running our financial markets don't seem to care that they are putting their own companies at risk, or that they are putting the world financial system at risk as long as they can personally rake in immense amounts of cash while it is still available for the taking.

So you're believing what Paulsen said to get TARP 1 and Geitner for TARP 2. Why can't we even get an honest audit from the Fed? Who knows where all this money is going .. since no one is telling the truth - who is to say we were days from a whole world economy melt down? You're trusting GS cronies and Wall Street and the rich and powerful moguls around the world.

TARP 1 & 2 would have never passed if it wasn't for the deception by the both WH administrations and the arm twisting by Pelosi and Reid.

Have we as a collective said trillion dollar debt so many times that everyone has become numb to that word? We passed 12 and 13 Trillion this past year with Obama ..... zoom zoom zoom. Life is great .. charge it. Irresponsible - that's what it is.

That sounds like everyday in America for god knows how long, its kinda like the American way when it comes to the US gov.. I cant say it is right but blaming it on Obama just turns it into a party issue.. More so i dont know what you would have them do, type out a receipt for you?

There was a recent bill to audit the fed .. the democrat lead congress scuttled it. I'm not saying it was all along party lines, there were a few repubs that voted for the weakened bill ... but more dems did vote for it. They could have had a similar bill as the House had - one that actually brought an audit to the fed .. no joy though.

I can't blame Obama for something that has been happening for years in DC .. but then again, who was the guy who ran on the time for a change, transparency, no more partisanship, reduced lobbying .. who has a an ex GS VP in the WH as the head economic adviser. If you liked the debt that GW administration piled up .. you must be crazy about the escalated debt that Obama's team has got going.

Yeah, yeah Ron Paul bill.. Might have done better if he didnt have so many out there views like goldstandard. Or if it was brought by anyone other then Ron Paul.

As for Obama, if he "changes" things repubs throw a fit, like health care, the econemy... Actually, if you can come up with one thing Obama has changed that you publicly supported and didnt bash, protest, complain about, or turn into an end of the world conspirecy and ask for his birth cirtificate over.. I might be able to rethink my position a bit better.
