In what alternative universe is there a proposal for a government takeover of health care?
I follow this pretty closely, and I haven't heard a word of any such plan, at least for this country. Britain, Spain, and Italy among others do have such a system, and it works at least as well as what we have here for most people, but that kind of plan is unlikely to work in the US, which is why no one is recommending it for us, much less proposing any legislation for it.
Why not discuss issues which are actually being considered?
