Yah, i'd prob say this all started because of the viiousness some (Palin included) went after Obama and the teleprompter thing. Hypocrisy only gets a person so far.

I don't think he's dumber than Bush, but I do think he is in over his head with this economy. Bush would be in over his head as well if he were still in charge. Other that the deficit spiraling more out of control, there isn't much difference between the two.

It just goes to show that it is easy to make mistakes when talking or writing, so use of these devices really does make sense, especially if you expect a critical audience.

Yeah, there was a media firestorm over Palin's hand-writing from many different points of view. The only one that makes any sense to me is that she criticized someone else for using a teleprompter while she had ink on her hand, but so what? It is a trivial issue at best. Lincoln wrote notes before giving The Gettysburg Address, not to compare Palin with Lincoln in any other way.
The whole thing is silly and just shows that he media will go this far out of their way to avoid dealing with substance.
If you write stuff on your hand going into a test, it is cheating. If you do it going into a speech where you are getting a lot of money to talk, it is just, I don't know, a quality control aid. Who gives a crap?
