I guess Bush allowing millions of illegals to come to and to work in the US (often for major companies) is still okay.
This doesn't let Clinton off the hook by any means, but someone compare the number of illegals who came here during Bubba's terms in office to how many came while Dubya was minding the store.
I never said it was OK .... if you want a good read (at least it is well written - it will make you sick how business is run in DC) the book Sellout is a good one to read - I checked it out from the local library.
You will find that many aliens were admitted to the US without any background checks.
I am pretty sure I've said .. meet the old boss .. same as the new boss for sometime now .. and the faces change but the bosses don't.
Chuck Norris can solve the Immigration debate The right wing Hero seems to be OK with letting them get in and naturalized!
It's the alien criminals that I have a big problem with .. pedophiles, rapists and murders not wanted here.
Oh, the Mariel boat lift people that Castro let out of prison and we blindly accepted whether they were political prisoners or regular prisoners! Got to remember that a lot of these repressive regimes don't make much of a distinction between the two! Also some of them were both types rolled into one person! The Chuck Norris proposal would catch at least the more stupid of the criminal types!
What about all the hard working immigrants who are doing the right thing and getting green cards and paying all the money to legally become a citizens. It is a slap in their face.

an interesting book BTW - Sellout
As a former Chicago prosecutor, David P. Schippers thought he had seen everything -- treachery, double crosses, sellouts. But what he saw behind the scenes at the Clinton impeachment rivaled it all. A lifelong Democrat who voted for Clinton in both elections, Schippers was the attorney chosen to prosecute the president. What he witnessed during the impeachment process -- from both sides of the aisle -- compelled him to write his riveting book, "Sellout: The Inside Story of President Clinton's Impeachment." Schipper's book is available at WorldNetDaily's online store.
In this excerpt from "Sellout," Schippers details an investigation he conducted as chief counsel for the House Judiciary Committee -- just before getting tapped to work on the impeachment -- involving the Immigration and Naturalization Service, Vice President Al Gore and the 1996 presidential election.
