Oddly enough, thebaron, I made the same vow a few years back when I found out that AARP was pushing that piece of crap corporate welfare program called Medicare Part D that Dubya wanted back then.
Seems like AARP has pissed off nearly anyone who pays any attention to what they do, which is fine by me. AARP is just a vehicle for selling insurance anyway.
the local AAA my grandmother uses does a lot of events with her friends and other members, but I think the national group needs to be disbanded.

while using Firefox press control and the key and Zoom in..that's how this old guy gets past it....lol
I use the add on Image Zoom for FireFox
But you can also do like you said with
Zoom in: [CTRL ] or [CTRL Mousewheel up]
Zoom out: [CTRL -] or [CTRL Mousewheel down]
Reset Zoom: [CTRL 0]
a higher rez scan would be nice....
