This is very revealing about the priorities of the Detroit Metro cops

To be fair, there is no indication in the article that the police decided to shut this down. The order may have come from somewhere else in the Detroit government (the Mayor's office, perhaps?), and the police had to enforce the stupid order. It might be safer to say it is very revealing about the priorities of the Detroit government. Other than that, I agree wholeheartedly!

What a fucking waste of the time of the police officers and the money that paid their salaries. I hope people file a lawsuit against those that prevented this action from occurring. I wonder how many actual crimes occurred while the city was dealing with the pillow fight?

I agree with their actions. Pillow fights belong in the bedroom at slumber parties - not in parks with dudes involved.

There were probably 4 murders during the time it took to break up this pillow fight
