Mr. Gramps is right. Rethugs demand their anti choice belief system be imposed on all. Progressives, however, allow that westerners rightly have a pro-choice system, as long as the choice is progressive.

If you read the article I posted today on the income tax cut that Obama pushed for, and the GOP opposed until caving at the last minute, you will see that economists predict that just over a million new jobs will be created as a result of putting that money into the consumer economy.
The GOP strategy here is plainly obvious, they don't want new American jobs to be created, they know that their chances in November are greater, the worse shape the economy is in at that time.
Those million jobs are far too few to be of any great significance, the GOP would have been better advised to let happen without their opposition. Now they look like they only like tax cuts for the wealthy and don't give a crap about the 99%.
This economic downturn started in 2008, and it was a long time coming, based on policies from Bush and Clinton. Obama has been in office for 3 years now, but by all accounts, this is a situation that is going to take 5 to 7 years to resolve, at best.
What worries me most is that there are a lot of politicians who are prescribing as cure for what ails us, the kind of policies that got us into this mess.
Why would we cut the ss and medicare funding tax and for just two months? 99% is just term for a bunch of socialist and union hacks that hired people to increase their size for the camera by creating the Occupy Astroturf Movement. Obama has NOT helped our economy in any manner by knee capping our oil and natural gas energy sources, plus helped sending jobs overseas due to reckless administration even more. He has no spine and lacks the will to kick to the side those morons that wish our nation to fail (aka greenies and other wack jobs of the left).

The downturn Mr Gramps has been in effect for a several decades, if not since the central bank (federal reserve) started up, any knowledgeable person realizes that .. you however simply start and stop the clock based upon your political biases and prejudices.
