Depends on what you mean by dead. I dig blu-ray, but it simply isn't selling like it should to be a replacement. IF anything rather than replacing DVD, it is replacing theater ticket sales. There will be a need for physical media for some time, but I think it will be smaller and more varied than anyone has seriously considered yet.
