I think he does, same nose/face structure and hairline. And keep in mind, in this photo Daniel Day-Lewis is in a restaurant, having lunch in jeans and sneakers, and some guy sneaked a photo in and posted it to Twitter, he's not in character.

Lets see different shaped eyebrow ridges. Different shaped and sized ears. Less deep set eyes. narrower and lest pronounced chin. Stronger jawline. Thicker neck.
He has the same ratio of forehead, upper lip, nose, and jaw. And styled hair and glue on eyebrows. He looks movie similar, not actually similar.
