I'm sorry, I was talking about Bush. If there was no Bush, there would be no deficit problem because the budget was balanced when he came into office and the national debt was scheduled to be all but paid off by the time he left office.
Then Dubya started his spending spree, beginning with the tax cuts that never did what he promised they would. No Dubya, no 2008 economic meltdown, no need for bailouts or Stimulus Programs.
And of course the main topic was Bachmann and how Bush looks like a moderate compared to her. 
That's one of your favorite topics to talk about ... GW .. he is your boogey man.
You ALWAYS fogetta about Obama .. who is worse than GW was/is on so many levels and aspects.
Obama is somehow worse to you with no 9/11, no Intelligence Failures (remember Dubya had two of the biggest ones ever), no economic crash (the second biggest of the 20th century), etc.
Objectively, I don't see how Obama is in the same league as Bush. I don't see how any modern president is in that league.
Obama's biggest sins are following in Bush's footsteps in some ways, and trying to spend us out of the economic collapse Bush left us. There is no way that makes him worse.
Of course Bachmann might be able to find a way to make things worse.

Migraine medicine is nothing to worry about. Bachmann herself is a whole different story. Her headaches are nothing compared to the multiple red flags having to do with what she says, what she does, her 'family business', her strange belief system both religious and political, and on and on.
Even really smart, very capable people get migraine headaches. I just don't think she is one of them.
And before you deficit hawks get too full of yourselves poking fun at Obama for overspending just remember that Obama spent with a purpose, to prevent a Depression set in motion by your guy.
Speaking of Bush, he spent like there was no tomorrow without a coherent purpose. Somewhere near a third of our current deficit comes to us courtesy of the Bush Tax cuts which have still not generated the millions of jobs he promised they would 10 years ago. We have spent a trillion dollars in Iraq and we still don't have a solid reason for doing it, all of the reasons he gave us turned out to be pure bullshit. He spent tons of dough on Faith Based programs like Abstinence Only, which have generally had the opposite effect to the one advertised, and so on.
This is just one more Heads I Win, Tails You Lose scenario. Overspending is good when we do it, bad when you do it.
