Any publicity is good publicity. The Lady knows how to stir a rant.
Jesse Billauer, founder of the Life Rolls On Foundation, fumed: 'I haven't seen Lady Gaga's performance, but respect her artistic expression as an artist...
Oh yeah, that's fuming.
I just heard a long interview with Gaga on The Howard Stern Show. I am not that familiar with her music, not my style, but I was really impressed with her as a person and as an artist and performer. That girl has SOME voice!
Until I hear her singing without electronic enhancement, I shall withhold opinion on her voice. And since I'm certainly not looking for said non-enhanced voice, I may never be able to form an informed opinion. ::sigh::
She sang a song that she said is on her current CD Born this Way, called "The Edge of Glory" or something like that.
She told the story of how her grandfather recently died and this song came to her about how he was between this world and the next while dying in hospice. Then she sang the song while playing the piano. No one else there, just her piano playing and her voice.
All I can tell you is that her voice is one of the best pop-singer voices ever. Very strong, perfect pitch, a very moving performance. Trying to think of other female vocalists in her league you would have to go to Aretha Franklin or someone like that (if there is such a thing)
Cool. Will check it out...
Edit: Ok. Yeah. I am impressed. Too bad about her crappy pop stuff.
I don't know what it sounds like on the CD, just what she did as a live performance on the radio.
I have never listened to a Lady Gaga song on purpose before today.
Edited to include link on my comment above...
Surprised that it is on the internets so quickly, (supposedly exclusive content on Sirius XM) but yeah, that is what I heard this morning, that one and the Hair song.
Lighten up wheel chair riders. Does everything have to be PC? Yes.

A good thing she didn't come out as a Special Olympics bowler ... she might be in trouble for that.
