Watching some racists Herman Cain Tea Party videos was a capital idea Mr. hairyfeet. I also caught up on some NASCAR material, the modern equivalent of "Go fast, turn left, Hippodrome and Colosseum chariot racing. Too bad that these days the NASCAR people can't attach knife blades to the wheels to bump against and cut up the competition like in the good old days. Ya know, this is probably gonna surprise you but there once was a time when Rs actually ran decent candidates. Cain isn't quite as snooker loopy as Bachman or Palin but he isn't exactly high on the sanity list either.
What we in America need is a return of the fiscal conservative, not these RINOs like Dubya that believe the answer is to cut taxes while blowing money like a sailor in Vegas with a 3 day pass. Mean like Ike and Goldwater that believed in only using government power to keep the mega corps from getting too big, as in Ike's MIC speech. Men that wouldn't be afraid to raise taxes if that is what it took to right this ship, while killing giant boondoggles like the new aircraft carriers and the F35 which is frankly the dumbest in a long line of dumb aircraft designs.
But no, sadly we won't get any more Buckleys or Goldwaters or Ikes, because the Rs have been taken over by the "Jesus won't come back!" brigade that think the Taliban were a really great idea if they would have only been bashing people with crosses instead. What we need is another Ike or Teddy "trust buster" Roosevelt, what we will get is Rand Paul and other Rs that wear the "evil republican" tag so proudly they come off as cartoons.
Read the polls the US public doesn't WANT to see old people get screwed, they don't WANT to see social security or medicaid/care gutted. What they WANT is an end to the wars and cash blowing, a return to the pre WWII days when we stayed home and worried about Americans. But sadly Steamed your party just don't run people like that anymore, what we get is Voodoo economies and trickle down.
