I would make a DVD of that event and play it often.

Maybe you didn't notice but the GOP just put on a full court press to preserve tax cuts for people who didn't need them (the top 2% is the only one doing better right now) This is money we will have to borrow to give the top earning American taxpayers, inflating the deficit.

If the GOP isn't looking out for the wealthy at the expense of the rest of us I don't know what they are doing.

The top 2% seems to do all right for themselves no matter who is in the WH or running congress - funny how that works out. The rich have gotten richer still .. and continue to do so whether GW or Obama or the congress is controlled by dems or repubs.

I think that is what the videos underlying theme was .. too bad you failed to 'notice' it due to your extreme prejudice.

Who is 'us' Is it people who make $25 -> 50K a year, 100 ... 200 ... apparently if you make over $250K .. some one has decided that you are rich and make too much money and you will pay higher taxes.

Why are there different tax brackets at all ... how can the man who's been the chairman of the committee that makes tax laws cheat on his taxes for the past 17 years ... and he gets told he was a 'bad' for doing this and no other consequences (Congressman Rangle) $$$$ that's the underlying theme. It takes money to make money .. the democrat and republican party differences thing is bunch if rhetoric - the rich get richer .. the poor get poorer. There is not a whole lot of difference between the two parties these days .. and it's been that way for some time.

Why not a flat tax for all .. and make sure the corporations can't loophole themselves down to nothing payments. Google paying 2.3% tax last year .. of course they did give most generously to their favorite politicians - but in the long run, I'm sure there were savings for them.
