This shithead who pretended to scam ACORN was a faker who altered the video to make it look as if it happened a totally different way than the raw footage showed.
The guy is a fake, a fraud, a charlatan, full of hooey. (Not saying ACORN are all choirboys, just saying this guy is more of a hero of editing than anything else.)
The whole ACORN outrage was built on a carefully constructed, and even more carefully edited, fraud.
Gov Moonbeam released 'some' footage .. I don't suppose that this guy gets to tell his side of the story .. we have to trust moonbeam and madcow .. great when you can control the story .. isn't it.

It is already well established that he didn't wear the outrageous Pimp Gear in front of the ACORN people, that was edited in later.
This new development sheds more light on what was already a shady story.

I don't think he is an absolute fraud, he certainly manipulated the truth .. .. or are you saying that these people for ACORN never said these things. Perhaps they couldn't be used in a court of law .. but they said them none the less. I did hear the tapes ...
Every time a cop goes undercover and tries to get the goods on bad guys ... is that horse pucky too?
You have the undercover angle backwards here, read the story! This all went down in a court of law because a judge insisted on getting the unedited tape which told a tale nearly completely opposite of the public version.
Undercover is one thing, being a total fraud is another and now it is certain which one this guy is.
The first case ... the ACORN worker .. instead of saying I won't discuss this decides to play like a cop - I am not sure what kind if disclosure they have with the people they meet and then turns the info over to her cousin the cop - sounds like she violated his rights - the second case she said never give up ... as in keep trying.
I think the issue is that the ACORN person(s) should have said right off the bat - I can't discuss this issue .. don't you - instead of trying to play cop and get info from him or in saying never give up? That's what I would have done . instead of giving the false impression that they were going to help or knew what the hell they were doing!
