The quote is so obviously untrue that you have to wonder if the quote has been taken out of context. How could the Governor and the US Senator from the same State never meet, even if they are of different political parties, which is not the case here?
I am not trying to say that Obama would never make stuff up, I am just saying that I am skeptical that he made this story up because it is so obviously and so easily provably untrue.
Are you sure that Obama didn't qualify this quote with a specific time period and perhaps your 'FF allies' removed the context?
Because lets face it, your FF allies are not really friendly to the president. If there was a conspiracy theory that he was born in the Pegasus Galaxy, you could probably come up with 'evidence' to back that story up with photos of him photoshopped to look like a Wraith.
