There are usually 2 or more meanings in most songs or poetry,
TAKE RUDYARD KIPLINGS "IF"
OR
CAROLLS "THE WALRUS and the Carpenter"
METAPHORS and sly lines are usually the only thing people really try to understand, other wise it is just so much "Fodder for the FANNY"
That is my opinion and I am not sure if I agree with it?!?
