Disagree with Gramps. Some good flicks listed but I wouldn't bank on these being the top 25.

It is a good list.
I didn't mean to imply total agreement with it, but it is a damned good list.
The top one is correct... the rest of the list is less meaningful and parts of it utterly disregardable.
And yeah,,, how the hell did they miss The Fifth Element???
I would think The Fifth Element is far too mainstream to be considered a "cult" movie, along with The Goonies, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Fight Club, and Blade Runner.
willy wonka and the chocolate factory.. I have never heard referred to as a cult movie...shouldnt be in the list at all
And how is Snake Plisskin not represented???
The old one's creepy cool.
Holy carp, that movie is set in The Bronx! Was just checking out the wiki page for it.
no no no!!! the dude is number one!! not 25!!! this site does not abide!! there are rules , and there toes have steped over the line!
It is a pretty good list, but some aren't all that culty. And Glenn or Glenda shoulda made the list. Eating Rauol, too.
I've seen every one of those except cannibal the musical.
The list is mostly the hollywood definition of cult movie. I.e. one that fails at the box office but makes money after initial release somehow. Not necessarily the obscure movie with a small but rabid following.
Still, I'd bump a number of them to include Harold and Maude.
Oh hell yes!

I'd probably toss A Clockwork Orange on there as well.

Gramps
Good list. The Dude abides.
