NO BEER! BRAINZ!
Wow, I am very familiar with a couple of these brews. As starving college students, a group of us referred to Falstaff beer as "Fail Safe" because it was two bucks and change for a 12 pack. You could go to the store with loose change and still have enough money for 12 beers if you went with Fail Safe.
Ah. Lucky. I liked the riddles in the caps.
Later generations had that with Milwaukee's Best, otherwise known as The Beast. I have too many nights I don't wish to remember fueled by that stuff.
How about Olde Froshingslosh with the large lady on the front
Only sold around Christmas! Ye Olde Frothingslosh the stale pale ale with the foam on the Bottom!
I still miss Iron City Ale, Sold in an 8 pack of 16 oz bottles, a gallon of Ale!
That is awesome! But, how'd it taste?
Fairly good, but in a fancy labeled bottle! Iron City Ale was IMHO better than Iron City Beer, the Lager version! Though I will admit, I am partial to Ales over Lagers as a rule! Ales usually have more flavor to them,
I'm more of a porter gal, but I have tasted some deliciousoso ales lately. That Sierra Neveda Torpedo Extra IPA fer instance.
Effing yummy.
I think the best thing I've tasted in a while was a Double boch that my Oldest Recommended while we were in Old Town in Alexandria, VA, I believe it was Belgian, but for the life of me can't remember the name! I usually go with English Brown Ales!
