Nice post dh, I've been anti-Zionist for ages, and had to defend my views again and again. I went to a a school (for kindergarten and all 3 years of primary) that was 90% Jewish. I understand the Jewish culture and it is a beautifully family-oriented and supportive culture. But the idea that a Jewish state is a god-given right is folly. The British and American governments created the current problem in the Middle East by thier decisions after WWII. Before that there were, on the whole, no problems between Arabs and Jews. But when foreign governments displace one group, well....you get the picture.
