There was a show on The History Channel or one of those channels that investigates stuff like this. King Tut had stuff made of green glass, the problem being that humans didn't have the know how to make glass back then. They eventually found similar green glass out in the desert where an ancient meteor hit the ground.
Too bad for Tut, the green meteor didn't give him super powers like in that movie.
