Awwwwww.
Any idea what breed mix he is?
And give him smooshkiss for me!
Possibly Yorkie mix maybe some Chihuahua in there. Cutie cute pie. Smart. House-broken, but doesn't do leash to well yet. A rescue group my friend works with may be able to place him today. (My friend who found the baby is in ICU
)
Damn, I hope you're friend pulls through. I'm sending positive thoughts. *hugs*
Thank you so much for doing that! I have a rescue dog myself, and I think they make the best pets! No pet will love you like a rescued animal! Give Squirt a snack and pet from me!!!
My girl adopted a rescue pup. A mini Australian Shepard pure bred.
Its a 14lb pain in my ass.
Squirt's new name is Mike (yeah, Mike)! He was neutered and his broken leg was set on Friday. He has a great new home with a co-worker of mine.
My friend passed away yesterday, so we're working on finding her wire-haired jack russell a perfect new home. I have 3 cats so I can't keep her. "Brill" was shelter dog also and is such a sweetie pie. She's a little stressed now since her hoomin mommy hasn't been home. She is such a lover.
Condolences on your friend. She sounds like a cool person.
Thank you. She was indeed very, very cool. I am going to honor her by putting her artwork (quilts) online somehow. Facebook or something, I don't know yet. She was a fabulous artist. Some of her quilts look like paintings.
Sounds like my mom. She literally paints with fabric.
Cute pup. I like puppies but the problem with them is that they turn into dogs at some point. It is like babies. They are so cute but sooner or later they turn into teenagers.
Nothing against dogs, or teens for that matter, just not the same.
Personally, I'll take the adult dog over a teenager (and really, other than a few rare cases, how bad is an adult dog, really?).
Watch the movie "Marley and Me" which appears to be written by someone who knows me personally and made my life story into a movie. My profession and the breed of dog have been changed (and Jennifer Aniston substituted for the real Mrs) but it is the mostly true story of my first dog, who's real name almost rhymes with 'Marley' among other amazing coincidences.
The only significant difference is that my dog was a LOT more trouble than the one in the movie.

OMG! He is so cute! Love to the peeps that rescued him. I have a foundling puppy at my house right now that we're working on getting into foster or forever home tout de suit. "Squirt" has a broked leg and hopefully today we will be able to get him the medical help he requires. (My big tough son is all snurffling in his face with the baby talk, and wants to track down the effer that hurt lil Squirt and stomp their own damn leg - ANIMAL AVENGERS! AVENGE!)
