You have the right to bleed to death. If you bleed to death a lawyer may be appointed to sue the medical provider that allowed you to bleed to death.
Your heirs may collect money because you bled to death, but you still have the right to bleed to death because this is a free country.
You are free to bleed to death and you are free to sue anyone you or your heirs choose to sue.
I am talking about literal bleeding to death. It isn't that uncommon for someone with a gunshot wound or other type of trauma (car crash) to bleed to death if not properly treated.
It is considered part of the ethics of medicine to treat such a person without regard to ability to pay. If this is a liberal concept it is an old one going back to ancient times.
The more modern concept of let 'em bleed to death is oddly enough associated with modern conservatism. You know, the Pro-Life, compassionate conservatives, who are endlessly interested in good moral values. Yeah, those are the let 'em bleed to death guys.

That is why the the caring progressives, such as Mr. Gramps and Mr. Lamparty, (you know how selfish conservatives and Libertarians are, as Ron Paul describes) formed a fund. The fund provides doctors with bare minimum rice and bean living standards. It pays for the doctor's malpractice insurance and education. The fund sponsors progressives to go to high schools, teach the students the BO worship song, and convince students to go to medical school to support humanity, work 24 hour shifts during internship, and spend lots of time in court defending themselves against frivolous extortion/lawsuits and hopefully settling out of court (big bucks for the DNC and we love it)to avoid strung out trial hassles. That is what medicine is all about.
