It's a sure bet that is a private doctor who treated the victim of Cheney's reckless and drunken actions can't talk to the public then any evidence that shows the Vice President drunk as a skunk will never see the light of day.

After those quotes, I agree. Under most circumstances, the doctor simply cant talk to the public about a patient's medical case. To me, that makes me think that the journalist is being deceitful. Now, if he can get someone to say something on the record then that will be a different story. But until then, I'm sceptical at best.

Look at the site and the author where this is article is from ..... look at who the alleged sources are ... there is NO way a secret service agent is going to talk to anyone about the vice president.
It makes a nice story ... the VP may have been buzzed .. but I would bet a paycheck that no secret service agent talked to anybody about the VP ... on or off the record.

a secret service agent talking to the press? um how about no. its a fun and exciting read, but I wouldn't count on a agent talking, let alone to joe nobody..
Heh, when I saw the writer source a secret service agent, I automatically filed this article away as political fiction. Agents on detail talking to the press? That doesn't happen.
