Niel Stephensen is a tad overrepresented there, and I'm not sure what american gods has to do with being a geek.

Ender's game should be on there, as should the shockwave rider. Heck The shockwave rider called phone menu hell right on the button way back in the 60s. If you are looking for classics of literature in the SF genre though, More Than Human is absolutely brilliant. The fact that it was written in 1953, the guy had some vision and some balls.

Perhaps a lot of the Fantasy/Sci Fi genre should be depicted here, but hey.....even if it is considered geeky...so what?

We need to have a bit of fun every now and then.
