So what are the financials involved with purchasing and maintaining a site such as Madville? Lets say the users got together and purchased the site, what would it cost? Maintenance and servers and all that tech stuff?
I am not wealthy, but would kick in as much as I could, it just sounds kind of pipe dreamish.
Too bad we can't just go all Egypt on them and overthrow their sorry asses.
I think the biggest change that should be considered...going back to moderator approved links. Back in the day the links were almost all good. The site has degenerated into an overly political mess.
Good work Ben, implementing a dialog box for banned websites was super quick for you, but actually coding something useful to deal with 70 spam comments from spammers apparently is impossible.
