Our dear friend Peter accepted a full-time job with a bit of a commute and thought he really wouldn't have the time to help out around here. Well, unfortunately, he was right. He rarely has the time or energy to work with the site any longer.
After some talking, we came to the sad conclusion that it might be best to find another person to take his spot as partner. Now, we both had a friend who was knowledgeable about social media and was a savvy businessman. Luckily, Metro expressed interest in coming on board and we began to discuss how everything would transpire.
So, we pretty much have everything working the way we want it to and our happy with our agreement. Peter is as well. Peter put a lot of hard work into the site and I'm sorry to see him no longer a partner. However, he is still a visitor and has joined your ranks as a user.
You may have also noticed that Metro modded some other accounts. These are trusted employees of his to help him out. I know them and they are good guys so welcome them. Please contact 'vivek' with any problems/suggestions.
We didn't want to make a big deal out of this or announce anything until it was finalized but seeing as though the MV audience is so curious, well, now you are in the loop. Sorry for the secrecy but we wanted to get the logistics out of the way first and make sure it actually happened before we announced something that fizzled.

I can honestly say I was expecting some kind of response here. Cool. That didn't happen so I think to myself - "Self; maybe you should actually PM v-guy". and I agree... ya know, give it another chance, for the team users that I care about that continue coming here.
Allow me to report another 'glitch'. The find feature doesn't work! So I figure if the owner is telling me to report it to [insert random user name that pops up out of no where here] he has to be a friend/follower right? To my surprise Ben doesn't know the guy or follow him...
I'm sure I could find him elsewhere but at this point I really don't give a shit.
I've been very sarcastic in the past about the change. I get that all change takes time to adjust too but seriously MV is dead. There's a handfull of users that keep any traffic here. You're going to want to go ahead and listen to some of them as opposed to someone that is "knowledgeable about social media and was a savvy businessman." if you have an interest in maintaining traffic on this site.
I really hope you man up and fix this place, it's the only one online I've continued to come to over the years and that is 100% due to the friends I've made here that continue to make your site.
Howd ya like the service interruption for 3 hours this morning... a nice change... I whipped out the old solitaire game.
Couldn't agree more... I've been pretty harsh on the new guys and with reason. Fix it or kill it, the way it is now is crud. And I'm sure there are several "social media experts" in this crowd. Not listening to the users is a sure way to destroy any value you have in your product.

The way Metro made a comment on behalf of Management kinda let the cat out of the bag that either;
1) Peter had inexplicably changed his screen name to Metro, or
2) There was a new member of Management.
Hard to imagine any other possibility.
Oh well, I suppose we are going to have to get used to no more free ice cream.
