Jun 20, 09 08:58 pm — May as well put it out there; MV has been on the downfall since the revamp and the latest fix might just be the demise so... where else is everyone going?
I can't believe that BP haven't even responded let alone fixed the recent errors. At least with MIYH everyone knew nothing would get changed but at least the shit still worked.
I don't really visit other sites regularly and have only continued coming back here cause I like some of you peeps. I joked about starting a site but I sure as hell ain't gots the know how to do that shit.
What other options are there?
I've glanced at the F-word a few times but have no interest. Ain't being online that appeals to me it's the people. This place has always felt like a home, hell I disappeared for a year and came back to find the same peeps and closeness that I had left (as have many others). There will always be a draw to the people here that's why MV going to the shitter really sucks.
Hope to either get this back or at least find most of you somewhere else on the interwebs.
The weekend having past with no fix to be seen, I felt this might be appropriate...

Maybe The Boys are on vacation, and as soon as the get off of that ship, they are going to get right on fixing Madville. I just hope they aren't on that 117 day cruise around the world.

Hmmmm...
I'll start off by saying that while the site may be messed up, it has been nowhere near as bad as when MIYH had his hand in running it.(with the exception of the popular link and recent links tabs.)
Not so much pissed that they haven't answered any PM's, they haven't been online to do so. My concern is that the email address I have for them isn't working. It may be a glitch though... *shrugs* They may be on a weekend vacation, I'll wait it out until Monday and see if they get to fixing it.
After that I'll start looking around for new digs.
Dunno any site that I would sign up for, I've checked many that seem to be popular and lots that aren't popular, but they just don't seem fitting or interesting enough to join. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to let peeps know. I'm game to check 'em out 'til Madville is up and running properly.

Come on, give them some time. The website works amazingly well given that it's a) new code, and b) being maintained in their spare time. As it is, turned out they were just on vacation and oblivious that anything was wrong.

Has anyone replied to your messages? Cuz, I have HATED this site since the revamp and lately I find myself not coming back and not missing the site at all... the people, well, that's another story. But this site just sucks large lately. It hurts my eyes to look at. And that's crap because I have been around here a looooooooooooooong time.

I started going to Fark again for the first time in ages. It has the feel of the old Madville, minus the small community. It's a shame because the small community is what makes Madville so great. I hope that BP fix the damn site and things return to somewhat normal. If not, I will check this blog to see where folks are headed.
