Jun 15, 09 01:15 am — My wife and I went out to Titusville on the boat early Saturday morning to watch the Space Shuttle launch. We found out the launch was scrubbed when we got to the dock. We decided to go out and ride around a little bit and see if we could find some redfish schools. As we were idling through Haulover Canal we saw something that looked like garbage floating. As we got closer we realized it was about an 8 foot gator with something in his mouth. As we got up next to it we saw what he had....it was at least a 40 inch redfish!!! I have never seen anything like it before. The gator kept trying to submerge but the redfish had puffed up and he couldn't drag the bloated thing under. It was awesome. Enjoy the pics.

p.s. I did hook up with nice redfish later that afternoon which I just grilled up. Yum.
