Feb 17, 09 12:28 am — I don't know how other links posters, especailly the ones that really rack 'em up, come up with their links but since I really don't see myself being an active Madvillian anymore, I am providng one of my best and most reliable sources for much of the stuff I've posted over the last year or so.
In fact, when I surmised that I was the only person plucking from this site, it became my staple as I climbed the MV points list. First breaking onto the front page/ top users list then linking and linking as I clicked past 16,000, 17,000, 18,000 and then 19,000, climbing, ever climbing to the hallowed 20,000 points. The last few days I pushed hard and was well into the 19,200's.
And then my Madville world came crashing down around me like a house of cards, nay, a house of straw, nay, a house built on sand, nay nay nay, in the end it wasn't a house at all.
It was, in the end, just another website. A website just like so many other thousands of websites. And my attention was held no more.

Like I say, I'll blow by once in awhile but not much more. It'll be hard to put the simple fun back in it for me.
It's kind of like how I was with the Doobie Bros, Led Zep, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Sabbath and other bands, after the first so many albums they changed just enough that I discontinued buying their albums.
I've said it before and I'll say it again (for the last time) the new owners are trying to make the site easy to use for everyone. The point system is still being tweaked as well. 
Anywho... you'll be missed!
